It’s Never Too Early to Give a Little Joy!
Christmas in July helps the Dickson County Help Center prepare early for the Christmas Store, our holiday program that provides brand-new gifts for children in our community.
Each year, parents and caregivers are invited to shop for their children in a dignified, store-like setting, choosing gifts that fit their children’s ages, interests, and personalities. Starting the toy drive in July gives our community more time to help fill the shelves before the holiday season begins.
Supporters can participate by donating new toys at collection locations throughout the county or by making a financial gift online. Financial contributions allow the Help Center to purchase toys, restock hard-to-find items, and fill gaps so that every child served through the Christmas Store receives thoughtful, age-appropriate gifts.
Last Christmas, 1,309 children received brand-new gifts through the Help Center’s Christmas Store. Christmas in July helps make that kind of preparation possible long before December arrives.

Want to Host a Toy Drive or Become a Drop-Off Location?
We would love to partner with local businesses, churches, civic groups, offices, schools, and community organizations that want to help collect toys for the Christmas Store during the month of July. You can get involved by hosting a toy drive with your staff, members, customers, or community, or by serving as an official drop-off location where people can bring new toy donations throughout the Christmas in July campaign.
The Help Center will provide a drop-off box, along with basic information to help you get started, including suggested toy categories, collection dates, and details about where donations should be delivered at the end of the drive. If your business, church, or organization would like to host a toy drive or become a drop-off location, please complete the form below. Your early support helps us prepare well, fill the shelves with care, and make Christmas brighter for children across Dickson County.
